- Role Requirements
- Full stack engineer with strong backend (Java, REST API, J2EE) and intermediate frontend (JavaScript, Angular/React/Ember) skills.
- Experience: ideally 5 7 years (up to 10 years considered); must be hands-on with coding, no team management (IC role).
- System design experience required.

- Interview Process
- Suppliers to filter and submit shortlisted profiles with answers.
- Two interview rounds:
- Round 1: Backend technical and coding assessment.
- Round 2: System design, frontend skills, and hiring manager evaluation.
- In-person interviews may be required for the second round to ensure integrity.
- Team & Work Allocation
- Role is for LinkedIn Marketing Services (LMS), with allocation possible to India or US teams, but work will generally follow India time zones.
- Project rotation within LMS org is possible every quarter.
- Additional Notes
- Screening questions will cover both backend and frontend skills.
- Previous hires were backend-focused; now full stack is mandatory, no exceptions.
- Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack LMS
- Bengaluru(Hybrid) (3 days in a week from office (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24x7.
Produce high quality software that is design reviewed, unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
Develop world class products collaborating with User Experience Designers and Product Managers.
Design and scale high scale services that integrate with the larger LinkedIn Platform to drive engagement on the platform.
Identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
Writing state-of-the-art code to keep LinkedIn at the cutting edge of current technology.
Collaborate with multiple teams across time zones.Basic Qualifications:
B.S./B. Tech in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding with 5+ years of hands-on industry experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with developing backend services in Java, Relational Databases, and UI/UX
Experience in designing and building infrastructure and web services at large scale.
Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in Data Structures, Algorithms, RDBMS, and software design.
Strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns
Experience writing clean JavaScript including experience with modern frameworks (Angular/Ember/React) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc).
Ability to program progressive, single-page applications (Backbone / Angular/ Play framework).
Experience building web applications and services with IDEs and general development practices.
Collaborative, team-first attitude and experience working with cross-geo teams.
