ACCOUNTANT FOR DISTRIBUTOR - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Invoicing & Accounts Receivable (AR): Issuing invoices to customers, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding receivables.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Verifying vendor invoices, processing payments, and managing credit/debit notes.
• Inventory Accounting: Tracking inventory costs, reconciling physical stock with accounting records, and ensuring accurate valuation.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts daily or monthly.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss) to analyze company performance.
• Tax Compliance: Assisting with VAT returns, GST/tax filing, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitoring cash levels and forecasting future cash requirements.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading or distribution firm.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle ERP.
• MS Excel: High proficiency in MS Excel, specifically VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Details & Analysis: Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers, customers, and sales teams.
