Introduction This is an Automation Test Engineer role for System, Component Integration or End-to-End testing for projects that require changes to one or several systems. What will you be doing Participate in requirements gathering and analysis activities and assessing the application from test automation perspective. Understanding functionality related to given module. Develop and execute formal test plans within schedule and budget constraints. Develop test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints Document defects & track till closure Create & execute complex test ware - estimates, scenarios, cases, data Develop test bed and verify test environments. Perform functional and technical test execution activities (automated tests, where applicable) as per engagement level in the project Assist the Test lead/ manager in managing the testing day to day Build knowledge repository on best practices on using specific test tools Uses utilities and tools to support testing Sharing of re-usable components to test engineering colleagues and other test teams Deliver test automation improvement initiatives within the project group. Conform to established best practices and any appropriate test automation standards What We're Looking For Strong in Python scripting skills and able to create automation framework for data driven applications. Experience in creating test automation framework from scratch using Rest Assured framework, pyTest, Behave, Robot, etc using BDD/TDD/ATDD, etc. Extensive experience working in UNIX environment. Basic education qualification B.Tech/Mtech Very strong SQL skills. Good practical experience of DevOps integration with test automation frameowrks including tools like Jenkins, Git, Nexus. Hands on experience in API testing and hands on knowledge using Karate, Postman, Insomnia. Skills That Will Help You In The Role Nice to have Mongo DB testing skills.
