As a fresher-level position, this role is open to enthusiastic candidates willing to work in Chennai, Bangalore Urban, or Pune. The successful candidate will help ensure the quality of our IT services, working with state-of-the-art tools and software testing strategies.Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficiency in Selenium, Postman, and TestNG (Mandatory skills) for automating and validating tests efficiently and effectively.
  • Solid understanding and experience with JIRA for managing and tracking software development projects and handling issues.
  • Knowledge of Pytest for writing simple yet scalable test cases, conducive to assessing various software functionalities.
  • Ability to use Jenkins for integrating continuous testing practices into established CI/CD pipelines for automation.
  • Experience working with Git, a crucial tool for version control and collaborative work among software development teams.
  • Proficiency in REST API Testing to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of the APIs we rely on.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify testing requirements based on customer needs and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate testing processes, results, and required improvements to stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement detailed test plans for new software, ensuring all functionalities meet the set quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to identifying and resolving software issues.
  • Utilize testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, and Postman to execute tests, sharing results with relevant teams.
  • Monitor JIRA for issues, collaborating with developers for quick resolution of bugs encountered during testing.
  • Conduct REST API Testing to validate API functionality, reliability, performance, and security aspects effectively.
  • Write and execute automated test scripts, using tools like Pytest, in coordination with software development practices.
  • Ensure continuous integration processes are adhered to by leveraging Jenkins for automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines.
