Knowledge of project Stores management procedures and ensure compliance. To Coordinate with Procurement, Supplier, Transporters for expediting supplies To Coordinate with Project Management Group for delivery schedules To coordinate with Logistics Dept. with respect to transportation of Imported shipments. To co-ordinate with Risk Management Cell with respect to Insurance claims. Supervision of Material Receipt, Issue, and accounting To ensure materials are unloaded timely at correct locations Provide identification tags for all materials in the Stores Ensure timely issue of materials to project site/user Knowledge of Bulk materials Receipt, Issue & Reconciliation i.e Cement, Sand, Aggregates, TMT & Structural Steel Knowledge of Bulk fuels receipt, Issue, and accounting Arrange inspection by Quality Dept. Intimation of discrepancies to Procurement and suppliers Handling of Rejections Arrange to collect the materials from transport companies Weigh Bridge management. Scrap Management Reconciliation of free issue materials issued to contractors Monitoring of OGP's (Out Gate Passes) - Maintain records of non-returnable and returnable gate passes. Supervise and monitoring the material handling equipment. Perpetual Inventory / Physical Stock Verification of Stores Inventory Re-arrange materials inside Stores and provide space for new materials Monitoring of Shelf-life items and implementation of FIFO Verify the Min-Max levels for all spares and consumables and act for replenishment. Implementation of IMS in Stores and compliance as per SOP To maintain good housekeeping and ensure material safety. Coordination with statutory authorities with respect to Licenses / certifications / stampings. To attend internal & external Stores audits and prepare audit replies in consultation with HOD-Stores Generation of MIS Reports Overall housekeeping of Stores.
