About the Role : We are on a mission to build long-lasting customer relationships that drive measurable business impact. As the Director of Retention Marketing, you will be at the helm of our customer lifecycle strategy-leading end-to-end efforts to deepen engagement, reduce churn, and maximize lifetime value.This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You'll design data-driven retention initiatives, gamified engagement programs, and multi-channel campaigns that move the needle across all core lifecycle metrics. If you're obsessed with metrics, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a proven track record of building high-retention ecosystems, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities : Own the Retention & Lifecycle Strategy- Develop and implement a full-funnel retention and lifecycle marketing roadmap.- Leverage data, behavioral insights, and segmentation to craft personalized, high-converting journeys. Drive Multi-Channel Campaign Execution- Plan and manage targeted campaigns across Push, In-App, Email, Social, and more.- Deliver contextual messaging that speaks to the right user at the right time. Gamify User Engagement- Launch incentive-driven programs with embedded social and gamified elements.- Tailor campaigns based on user segments, CTAs, and behavioral triggers. Performance, Analytics & ROI Measurement- Define and track KPIs, A/B test continuously, and monitor campaign success.- Optimize for retention, engagement, and ROI using real-time analytics and user feedback. Maintain Brand Voice Across Channels- Ensure all customer touchpoints reinforce brand identity and value propositions. - Lead Go-To-Market for New Products- Collaborate cross-functionally on GTM strategies and campaign rollouts.- Ensure timely launches that align with user behavior and lifecycle needs. Dig Deep with Data- Partner with Analytics to uncover actionable insights and iterate rapidly.- Utilize tools like MoEngage, Amplitude, or similar to drive segmented execution. Fuel Campaign Innovation- Stay ahead of industry trends. Use market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to surface new engagement opportunities.Who You Are: - 7+ years in product or lifecycle marketing roles, with experience in high-growth tech or digital-first environments. - 4+ years leading retention/growth strategies and executing experimentation-led initiatives. - Strong grasp of cohort analysis, segmentation, and user journey mapping. - Proven success in gamified, reward-based or social engagement campaign design. - Hands-on experience with CRM, engagement, and analytics tools like MoEngage, Amplitude, etc. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling abilities. - Background in crypto, fintech, e-commerce, or gaming industries is a major plus. - Comfortable working in agile, fast-changing environments with cross-functional teams.- To take this discussion further write in strict confidence at (ref:updazz.com)
