The role focuses on driving automation, digitization, and standardization to enable a responsive and intelligent planning ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders, influence CXO-level decisions, and be a key enabler of the organization's digital supply chain ambition.Key ResponsibilitiesTransformation StrategyDefine planning transformation vision and roadmap aligned to growth and efficiency goalsTranslate strategic objectives into project charters with milestones and ROI metricsAct as advisor to leadership on supply chain digital maturityPlanning Process Automation & System ImplementationDrive automation in production, supply, distribution, and procurement planningImplement simulation capabilities and digital twins for scenario modelingEnable S&OP/IBP frameworks and integrate planning across functionsLead deployment of tools for safety stock optimization, PR/PO automation, and supplier collaborationIntegrated Planning & Technology EnablementLead design and implementation of integrated planning platforms (e.g., o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis)Ensure system readiness via accurate data, strong process documentation, and change enablementCollaborate with IT to define data architecture, APIs, and ERP integrationsChampion master data governance across planning parametersStakeholder Management & Capability BuildingInfluence internal and global stakeholders across supply chain, business, and ITCreate digital training programs, SOPs, and planner upskilling initiativesLead UAT, system rollouts, and knowledge transfer sessionsProgram Management & Continuous ImprovementLead cross-functional transformation projects using Agile/WaterfallMonitor project health, budget adherence, and post go-live KPIsEstablish performance dashboards and continuous improvement mechanismsQualifications & ExperienceB.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial EngineeringMBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations from a reputed institute12-18 years of total experience with at least 5 years in digital planning or transformation rolesPreferred certifications: APICS (CPIM/CSCP), PMP, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)Desired ProfileDomain Exposure: Strong background in supply chain transformation or consulting for large enterprisesTools & Platforms: Hands-on with o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Blue YonderAnalytics & BI: Skilled in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP BOIndustries: Experience in FMCG, Retail, or CPG sectors preferredSoft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadershipNote: This role is with a confidential, globally recognized organization.
