Full-Time Equivalent SalaryUpstaff is looking for an experienced Accountant (Payroll Specialist – Canada) with strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and Canadian payroll. This role is focused on managing bookkeeping and payroll tasks for Canadian clients. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in Canadian accounting practices, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process Canadian payroll
- Maintain and organize bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
- Manage ROEs, source deductions, payroll taxes, and invoicing
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure payroll compliance with Canadian regulations
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online
- Hands-on experience with Canadian payroll
- Familiarity with ROEs, source deductions, and compliance requirements in Canada
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently during scheduled hours
