Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.WM Product TechnologyWealth Management Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm’s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans, and tailored lending. Read on…What you’ll do in the role:Design, implement, and execute appropriate solutions and enhancements to ensure an improvement in system reliability and performance.Ensure project deadlines are met and are in alignment with the needs of the business unit, and coincide with release management and governance.Ensure that operational aspects of supported applications are included in architectural standardsProduce service metrics, analyse trends and identify opportunities to improve the level of service and reduce cost as appropriate.Support implementation activities.Enable technical knowledge sharing across teamWork with vendors on designated areasWhat you’ll bring to the role:Skills Required :2 + Years of experience in Full-Stack Development2 + years of hands on professional experience using Core Java, Java Restful APIs, Spring MVC, Spring Boot , Gradle, and related frameworks.2+ years of hands on professional experience using Angular2+ , forms, AGgrid , Reactive Forms, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap etc.Hands On Experience with Vanila Java Script is a plus.Proficient with database technologies (preferably Teradata or any other relational databaseSolid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development.Strong Understanding of software development principles, patterns and practices.Strong Understanding and hands on with git repositoriesExperience with Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps IntegrationHands on with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of DevOps tools like (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).Strong Communication and presentation skills.Skills Desired:Knowledge of database application concepts, SQL, query optimizationProficiency in Unix shell scripting.Proficiency in Scala and python.Understanding of secure software development concepts, especially in a cloud platformExperience with monitoring, event/alert management and observability concepts a plus.Exposure to financial industrySource control (preferably Git) and continuous Integration tools.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
