Job Description:As the AI Governance Officer within SISC, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring governance frameworks that ensure the responsible, ethical, and compliant use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the organization. Implement global AI governance policies within the organization; adapt them to local operational needs.
Establish guidelines for responsible AI usage across all functions
Ensure compliance with emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, India's Digital India Act, US/EU data laws, etc.).
Collaborate with the global AI ethics committee to localize principles of fairness, transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.
Risk , Compliance & Audit
Identify and assess risks associated with AI-driven systems developed, supported or used by the organization.
Develop audit frameworks for AI lifecycle management, including data sourcing, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
Conduct regular internal audits of AI models, processes, and third-party tools to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Work with information security, data privacy, and compliance/legal team to mitigate risks around data usage, model bias, explainability, and security.
Monitor vendor/third-party AI tools used within the organization to ensure adherence to corporate standards.
Operations & Oversight
Establish an inventory of AI systems and use cases across the organization; maintain visibility into lifecycle management (training, testing, deployment, retirement).
Oversee AI model validation, monitoring, and documentation processes.
Partner with business/functional teams to embed governance checks in AI development/utilisation.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the SISC liaison with SGC on AI governance, reporting on compliance status, incidents, and regulatory developments.
Train and sensitize employees on responsible AI use and emerging regulations.
Support cross-functional committees involving Legal, HR, IT, information Security, and Business teams.
Years Of Exp:4 to 6 YearsEducation/Qualification:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, Public Policy, or Business with specialization in technology governance.
