Analyst, Business Operations

• Research / analysis of company ownership, shares outstanding, free float data and determining the reasons for changes.
• Research / analysis of industry and country classification in accordance with ICE Data Indices proprietary methodology and determining the reasons for changes.
• Research and validation of corporate actions impacting constituents of equity indices by consulting vendors, filings, and exchange sources.
• Research / Analysis of fundamental, other company data required in index rebalances / development and determining the reasons for changes.
• Rebalancing indices and attributing changes in composition of indices to factual causes based on changes in input data.
• Creation and maintenance of data used for simulating historical index rebalances.

• Post graduate degree in Finance, such as Masters in Business Administration or Chartered Accountancy
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in Math, Finance, Economics or Technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), Python or any other scripting language.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills with the ability to comprehend complex materials.
• Ability to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a part of a team and independently.
• 5 to 9 years of work experience

• Chartered Financial Analyst Charter holder or working towards it.
• Knowledge of and/or experience within Equity and Fixed Income Markets, focus on index rebalancing, index data quality, identifying & analyzing corporate actions impacting indices.
• Familiarity with the concepts of relational databases.
