Unit: Employee Experience Services (EES)Job Title: BGV and Onboarding SpecialistLevel: SPE/ SMELocation: Hyderabad, IndiaType of position: Full timeReports to: Team LeadResponsible for: Delivering HRO/Learning services to clientsRole briefWe are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Background Verification & WorkdayOperations Executive to manage pre-joining and onboarding activities for new hires across India.This role will be responsible for coordinating background verification through the Kcheck portaland ensuring accurate and timely updates in the Workday HCM system. The ideal candidate willhave a strong understanding of Indian employment documentation, compliance norms, and HRsystems.Core ResponsibilitiesInitiate BGV cases for new joiners via the Kcheck vendor portal, ensuring timely upload ofcandidate documents (PAN, Aadhaar, education, employment proofs, etc.)Track and follow up on verification progress, escalating delays or discrepancies to HR andTalent Acquisition teamsLiaise with candidates to resolve documentation gaps and ensure compliance with Indianemployment standardsReview completed BGV reports and flag any adverse findings for further actionMaintain audit-ready logs of BGV status and vendor interactionsEnsure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., POSH, PF, ESI, laborlaws)Create and maintain candidate profiles, job requisitions, and onboarding tasks in WorkdayTrigger onboarding workflows including document collection, joining formalities, and inductionschedulingEnsure data accuracy across Workday modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HCM)Generate reports and dashboards for BGV status, onboarding progress, and compliancemetricsCollaborate with HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll teams to resolve data or workflow issuesSupport configuration updates and testing for Workday processes related to India geographyKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience handling onboarding for PAN India hires across multiple statesKnowledge of statutory compliance (EPFO, ESIC, gratuity, labor laws)Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume onboarding environmentProcess improvement mindset with a focus on automation and efficiencyHands-on experience with Workday HCM and Kcheck or similar BGV platformsFamiliarity with Indian employment documentation and compliance normsStrong coordination and communication skills, with a customer-service mindsetProficiency in MS Excel, HR dashboards, and vendor portalsEducation and work experience requirementsGraduate or Master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalentWith overall 2-5 years of work experience in HR operations or onboarding, preferably in amultinationalOpen to work in Rotational shifts
