Minimum qualifications:

Experience working on compilers or developer tools

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Manage the Bengaluru based kotlin compiler team. Develop engineers on the team providing regular feedback to foster their growth and performance.
Set the technical direction and priorities for local Kotlin Compiler team.
Build new features in the Kotlin Compiler, Android Studio and other related tooling to make Android developers using Kotlin even more productive.
Grow the close collaboration with the Kotlin Compiler team and work with the broader Android Studio team at Google.
