- To ensure testing and Preventive Maintenance / breakdown of Firefighting and all MEP equipment which includes Fire Hydrant , Sprinklers, Fire Extinguisher, fire pumps, Fire alarm panel, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and PA system as per planned preventive maintenance schedule
- To ensure regular testing and Preventive Maintenance / Breakdown of Fire detection System which includes, Smoke / Heat Detectors, Manual Call Points, Talk back system and PA system as per planned Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
- To ensure timely action on trouble shooting of equipment and provide functional back up & document the same
- Fire & Safety Training session for staff of Max with representation from all department & staff of out sourced agencies working at Max.
- · Conduct Fire Awareness Test keeping record of the same
- Responds to all fire alarms; determines whether a fire exists; attempts to extinguish fire and contacts fire department.
- Answers telephone calls and/or operates a telephone switchboard when the facility or building is closed.
- Writes incident and accident reports and maintains a record of activities.
- Performs all engineering and safety related work as assigned to you time to time.
- Provides all safety coverage for a state facility. Plans, develops and conducts employee safety, fire prevention and accident prevention programs.
- Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety in any construction/ Project / renovation area.
- Regularly performs Fire Safety and General Safety activities recognized as the most complex and difficult.
- Mock Fire Drill execution in coordination with Engineering & Security Department
- To demonstrate professional & courteous behavior to patient & co-workers
- To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices
- To administer and execute the complete operation and maintenance all fire other engineering equipment to maintain Fire & Safety Standards.
