Job descriptionJob Title: Assistant Manager - Engineering Location: Bhiwandi/ Mumbai Reportsto: Plant Head - Engineering & Facilities Salary : 9 LPA to 14 LPA Company: The Whole Truth Foods Purpose To ensure all production and packaging machinery runssmoothly through strong preventive maintenance systems, timely breakdown response, and data-driven improvement. Thisrole will be the plant's go-to person forreliability, efficiency, and technical problem-solving, enabling seamless production and high equipment uptime. Key Responsibilities O☼◦ Maintenance & Reliability • Execute and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance for all production and utility equipment (extruders, blenders, cooling tunnels, packing lines, etc.). • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation issues to minimize downtime. • Maintain and update the maintenance tracker / CMMS, ensuring accuracy and timely PM completion. • Conduct Root Cause Analysis(RCA) for breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions. Projects & Technical Support • Support the Plant Head in installation and commissioning of new machines and line.Qualifications & Experience • Education: B.E./ Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering • Experience: 5-8 yearsin engineering/maintenance within FMCG or food manufacturing environments • Strong understanding of PLC-based systems, utilities, and automation • Exposure to ISO, GMP, and FSSAI audit practices What Success Looks Like • ⬛ 95% uptime on key production equipment • ⬛ Zero repeat breakdowns • ⬛ Preventive maintenance adherence
