sustained commercial wins across India.Core Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Market Leadership
Identify and lead penetration into untapped Tier 1 & Tier 2 architect networks.
Define BD playbooks per city/region aligned with brand positioning.
Represent in high-level architecture forums, summits, and design conclaves.
2. Architect Acquisition & High-Impact Engagement
Acquire high-value design firms with repeat project potential.
Lead curated presentation strategies using Mercantile kits and storytelling-based engagement.
Position as a creative partner, not a supplier via co-branded events, CPDs, and thought
leadership sessions.
3. Specification-to-Order Conversion Strategy
Design and monitor follow-through funnels for all key specifications.
Collaborate with product and dealer teams to fast-track closures.
Resolve pricing, customization, and technical objections with precision.
4. Sales Team Enablement & Mentoring
Guide and mentor junior BDMs with structured weekly reviews and field accompaniment.
Support onboarding via mock presentations, pitch frameworks, and objection-handling modules.
Share winning strategies and case studies internally to replicate success.
5. Collaboration with Design, Marketing & R&D
Provide field insights to marketing for campaign design and lead-gen alignment.
Offer design and R&D feedback based on on-ground architect preferences and trends.
Be involved in beta testing and launch of new surfaces, formats, and collections.Daily/Weekly Expectations:
2–3 strategic meetings with high-value firms or project decision-makers.
Lead or support minimum 1 Mercantile-based walkthrough per week.
City mapping and tracking of ≥30 live architect-pipeline specs at any given time.
Internal mentorship/coaching session bi-weekly.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Confident, design-literate yet commercially sharp.
Previous success in architect/channel-heavy sales cycles.
