Job Title: BI Analyst (Immediate Joiner, 2-5 Years Experience)As a BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong combination of analytical skills, Power BI expertise, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights.You will work closely with business analysts, database administrators, and stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver clear, interactive, and reliable visual reporting solutions that drive business improvement.The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple reporting needs in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

Report Development:

Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and KPIs.
Transform raw data into meaningful insights using DAX and Power Query (M).
Integrate data from SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and other relevant data sources.
Data Modelling and Optimization:

Create and optimize data models (star schema, relationships, hierarchies) for effective reporting.
Apply DAX and query folding best practices for performance tuning.
Configure incremental data refresh, row-level security (RLS), and manage gateway settings.
Report Deployment and Support:

Deploy reports to Power BI Service with proper workspace and access controls.
Schedule and monitor data refreshes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
Provide ad hoc reporting support and enhancements based on user feedback.
Analyze complex problems and devise solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
Agile Collaboreation:

Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and team members to understand reporting requirements.
Provide input on reporting and analytics best practices to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Power BI report development and data analysis.
Knowledge and Skills :
Proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX.
Strong understanding of Power Query (M), data transformation techniques, and SQL.
Experience with data visualization principles and storytelling through dashboards.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
Good to have :
Basic experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD for BI assets.
Knowledge of REST API connectivity and JSON data parsing.
