- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve growth targets in the government sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through market research and networking.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to government clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services.
- Monitor government policies, regulations, and industry trends to identify potential business impacts and opportunities.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote Genetec's offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development progress and performance against targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the government sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience working with government contracts and tenders.
- Knowledge of the security technology industry.
- Proficiency in local languages and dialects.
