In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the design and manufacturing of our current & next line of exciting products. As a lead product engineer, you will work closely with the cross functional teams in various locations of our business to build industry-relevant products that meet the required specifications for our global customers. Proficient in Project management.· Solve technical problems, identify solutions, participate in concept reviews, critical design reviews, and other technical discussions with the global team and handle multiple projects at the same time· Develop concepts, design/select & develop components along with suppliers, develop component specifications for structural component (metal, non-metal) and assemblies, DFMEA and test plan· Create and release engineering documentation using PLM & PDM software like ProE & Windchill. (Design, Drawings, Bill of material, and Specifications).· Co-ordinate with cross-functional team to implement design changes.What you will bring:

BE degree - Mechanical/ Masters in Thermal Engineering / related specialization
5+ years’ hands on experience in component selection, system integration, concept development, design calculations, design engineering in the domain currently working.
Good understanding of the basics of engineering, especially Thermal engineering, thermodynamic cycles, refrigerants etc., Hands on working experience in design and development of HVAC can be an added advantage.
Perform Thermal analysis using simulation tools to predict performance of HVAC components. Exposure to relevant HVAC standards ASHRAE 90.1, AHRI 550/590, UL 60335-2-40, IS 16590 etc would be an added advantage.
Experience in product design, development process/phases; Hands on experience in DFMEA and test plan development. Exposure to prototype/engineering builds & testing.
Good Knowledge of metal & Non-metal component design, assy, Mfg process. Basics of Electrical system / components would be added advantage.
Basic knowledge in understanding material properties for materials selection considering application requirements.
Demonstrates ability to get to root cause and to take effective action to solve problems. Hands on experience with problem solving tools.
