Operating within the world’s leading Oral Care Company, we have a number of exciting products in the Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Business to Consumer (B2B2C) space. We are looking for a highly motivated fullstack developer to join our team to help us win in digital commerce.This role will involve planning, design, development and maintenance of web applications. The ideal candidate has strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, is proficient in modern Javascript frameworks, and has a passion for user experience, code and technology. Candidate should be a self-starter - eager to learn new technologies, delight users, and protect user data through compliance with privacy standards & regulations and implementation of appropriate security safeguards.The person will be required to collaborate with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.The person should have the ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.Main Responsibilities :Front-End Web DevelopmentDevelop and modify user-facing features for web and mobile applicationsSupport ongoing development for existing projects/applicationsBuild reusable code and libraries for future useOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityImprove test coverage of existing code basesCollaborate with our lead digital designer and other product team members to translate abstract concepts into visually pleasing designs and bring them to life across our owned digital touchpointsCollaborate on & implement best-in-class UX/UI to optimize/improve our digital propertiesWork independently and handle various tasks at the same time in an Agile, team-based environmentWork efficiently with 3rd party vendors and developers to create, develop, and maintain visually compelling web pagesKeep current with emerging web design trends and technologies through relevant blogs, community forums, industry events, conferences, etcEcommerce and DTC ExpertiseWork hand in hand with our ecommerce, digital marketing and social media teams to implement engaging content that brings the brands to life across channelsParticipate in usability tests on interface design to insure cross-browser and device compatibilityDrive best-practices and documentation in support of processesOperate with a good sense of purpose and be able to freely operate to bring new experiences to lifeTeamwork and LeadershipInterface, communicate and coordinate as a part of a collaborative, multi-functional team to meet business objectives and deadlinesCollaborate with internal partners on online commerce requirementsGive expert dev advice on how to best bring creative into our projects and make recommendations for improving our online presence as a wholeWho you areYou are an technical architect -Strong visualization and design skills, with the ability to bring it to lifePossess a creative mind with the ability to think outside of the boxAbility to provide the team with new ideas, asking questions to understand business needsAble to handle constructive feedback and offer creative solutions to complex design problemsAbility to work with various asset management systems, shopping cart systems and ecommerce platformsProficient in interface design tools (such as Figma) and Adobe CS applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver, etc.)Ability to work in fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize responsibilities accordinglyEnthusiastic about petsRequired Qualifications :Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar field.Proficient understanding of web markupHTML5, CSS3Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including vanilla JavascriptCross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themExperience using one or more sophisticated JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.Solid understanding of Git source code control and branching methodologies, debugging, performance monitoring, benchmarking, logging, and testing toolsGood experience with test-driven development methodologiesExcellent oral/written communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications :Knowledge of B2B2C and/or DTC modelsKnowledgeable in the consumer packaged goods industry and/or retail ecommerceUnderstanding various customer journeys (working closely with the CX & UX teams)Developing for Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms in working with digital marketing teams (SEO, etc) & agencies supporting A/B testingWorking in the CPG, Retail or Commerce industriesDeveloping applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Agile development teamsOur Commitment to Sustainability
