Remote Process Surveillance Engineer – Diesel Hydrotreater (DHT) and Hydro-Deisomerisation (HDI)

- Continuously monitor process parameters of DHT and HDI units using remote surveillance tools and dashboards.
- Analyze trends in temperature, pressure, flow rates, and catalyst performance to detect deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with TotalEnergies engineers to troubleshoot operational issues and support process optimization.
- Generate daily and monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support energy efficiency and yield improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Maintain and update Daily Performance Reports and Operating Window Limits based on historical and real-time data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in refinery operations, preferably in hydroprocessing units.
- Strong understanding of DHT and HDI process chemistry and unit configurations.
- Experience with remote monitoring systems (e.g., PI System).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel) and process simulation software.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with catalyst performance monitoring and regeneration strategies.
- Knowledge of diesel specification compliance and product quality control.
- Experience in remote operations or centralized technical support roles.
