This individual must understand thoroughly of current design with hands-on technical experience. The role will also help support development of innovative solutions in cloud and infrastructure technologies.What the role offers:Collaborate with teams from Product Development, Professional Services and Customer Support teams to Deploy Services / Applications.Be an expert on migration of Applications/Services, and Disaster Recovery Planning & execution.Work on Post Implementation Review process for bugs, fixes, and issues encountered in active production instances.Actively support production incidents, problems, and on root cause analysis.Provide feedback with Engineering and Product management teams to make services stable and resilient.Develop/enhance OpenText Automated Deployment strategyKnowledge on integration points of hosted Applications and related implementation expert for CloudOpsWork with 3rd party vendors and their support organizations for any impact to OT hosted solutionsAbility to prioritize work to ensure timely project deliveries.Available to work on weekends to scheduled maintenance activities and Deployments.On rotation monthly 24x7 oncall supportWhat you need to succeed:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or relatedMinimum 7 to 9 years of experience in Cloud Applications and Platforms.Primary Skills: DevOps, AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, exp in Java env, Automation Ansible/Chef/Puppet. etc., On-call support.Hands on experience in Cloud computing (AWS, Google, Azure)Install, upgrade and managing the platform clouds such as Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes.Platform architecture and designProactive monitoring, tuning, periodic maintenance and capacity planningAble to automate tasks with Python, Go or Shell-script.Devops skills like Terraform, concourse, GitlabMaintaining the platform with High availabilityTerraform an IAAC to create Kubernetes clusters in GKEComfortable with technology stack (Python, Terraform, Ansible, Groovy, Shell).Familiar with Container based Application Deployments and DevOps tools.Experience in Dockers and Kubernetes based deployments.Review product design documents to ensure compliance with architecture standardsProficiency in writing scripts (bash, ksh, perl, Powershell , Expect, AWK, Python is a plus)developing and maintaining detailed documentation of workExcellent communication and people skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving techniquesExperience on monitoring tools such as APM, SiteScope, OBM,etc.Understanding of ITIL processesFamiliarity with Load Balancers, SMTP, DNS Services, Networking protocols.Familiarity with databases (Oracle and/or Sybase databases or basic SQL concepts).Comfortable with technology stack (Python + JavaScript/TypeScript, React).Understanding security and network protocols, such as SFTP, VPN, HTTPS, and SSH.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Capacity to set priorities and deliver solutions in time.Working on a multi-layer enterprise application.Ability to analyze and debug complex systems.Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
