Job Location: Delari, Near Gerwani, Dist.: Raigarh, Chhattisgarh (India)A Senior Chemist (QC Lab) is a professional responsible for overseeing and conducting quality control testing in a laboratory setting. They ensure that products and materials meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves a combination of analytical testing, data analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting, often with a focus on maintaining compliance and improving quality control processes.Key Responsibilities:Analytical Testing:Conducting a variety of chemical and physical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques like HPLC, GC, titrations, and other analytical methods.Data Analysis and Interpretation:Analyzing test results, identifying deviations from established standards, and interpreting data to assess product quality.Documentation:Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all testing procedures, results, and deviations, often following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Troubleshooting:Investigating and resolving quality-related issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.Quality Control Processes:Developing, implementing, and improving quality control procedures and protocols to ensure product consistency and compliance.Equipment Maintenance:Ensuring laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly.Collaboration:Working closely with other departments, such as production and research and development, to address quality concerns and improve processes.Mentorship:May be involved in training and mentoring junior chemists or laboratory staff.Regulatory Compliance:Ensuring that all laboratory activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education:A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is typically required, with some roles requiring a master's degree.Analytical Chemistry Skills:Proficiency in various analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as HPLC, GC, and other relevant methods.Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex quality-related issues.Attention to Detail:Meticulous attention to detail in conducting tests, recording data, and maintaining documentation.Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting results, collaborating with teams, and presenting findings.Organizational Skills:Strong ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized records.Experience:Relevant experience in a quality control laboratory setting, with increasing levels of responsibility for senior positions.Knowledge of Regulations:Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as GLP and other quality control guidelines.JOB APPLYhttp://jobs.vinayakjob.com/CONTACT DETAILS :-NAME - SHASHI
