Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with expertise in Oracle technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Oracle database management, development, and support. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and optimization of our Oracle systems to meet the organization's business needs.Your responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Oracle databases and applications to support business operations.Perform database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Oracle-based systems.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle databases and applications, including performance tuning and optimization.Develop and implement data migration, integration, and conversion processes between Oracle and other systems.Provide technical support and guidance to end users, including troubleshooting, training, and documentation.Stay updated on emerging Oracle technologies, best practices, and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in Oracle database management and development.What you bringProficiency in Oracle database technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Middleware is preferred.Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is preferred.Education QualificationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration, development, and support.What we offerCompetitive remuneration package & access to salary packaging options to allow you to maximize your after-tax income.Competitive benefits package including Health Insurance, Personal Accident / Disability, Group Term Life Insurance, Annual health check-up, and voluntary insurance options.Work-life balance with a flexible work schedule so you can focus on professional and personal priorities.Time to recharge through 30 days PTO (with up to 10 days carry forward as Earned Leave stock)Employee Assistance program for you and your immediate familyA global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunitiesContinuous development and training in your area of expertise within a global OrganizationAs an equal-opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
