This role is pivotal in driving strategy, governance, and operational excellence for a multi-country HR data function supporting our global client. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, transformation focus, and experience in scaling workforce data operations.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Data Governance:
o Define and enforce global data policies, process standards, and compliance protocols across all employee lifecycle processes.
o Partner with the client to build a sustainable, audit-ready, and scalable HR data governance framework.
o Act as an SME for HRIS configurations, reporting, and analytics.
2. Leadership & Team Development:
o Manage, coach, and develop a team of analysts and team leads responsible for HR data transactions and administration.
o Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, precision, and continuous learning.
o Build workforce planning for the team, ensuring right capacity, upskilling, and succession readiness.
o Forecast staffing, manage budgets, and drive operational KPIs and SLAs.
3. Stakeholder Management:
o Serve as a key point of contact for the local HR, Compliance, and Operations teams.
o Translate business needs into data solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
o Present business cases, dashboards, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
4. Innovation and Transformation:
o Lead automation, process redesign, and digital workforce initiatives (RPA, AI, analytics).
o Own change management, UAT, and integration efforts across platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP).
o Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and Lean methodologies.5. Compliance & Risk Governance:
o Ensure strict adherence to data privacy, GDPR, and labour law compliance across workforce data activities.
o Implement internal controls to detect, prevent, and resolve data-related risks.
o Lead audits, internal reviews, and remediation actions as needed.
o Serve as a control owner for HR systems compliance and documentation.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Business, Data Science, or related fields (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in Workforce Data Admin or a related role, with a strong background in leadership.
- Expertise in data analytics, reporting tools, and process automation.
- Proven ability to manage teams and large volumes of data transactions.
- Strong process orientation and knowledge of compliance/audit frameworks.
- Experience in ticketing tool like Service Now, Zendesk, etc is preferrable.
- HCM tool experience – Workday is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work 5 days from office in client specific shift.
- Certifications in leadership, data management, or project management.
- Proficiency in analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities.
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
