You will be working as Field Service Engineer at global grade 14 and will be part of Process Automation business for Measurement & Analytics division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Team Leader and will be responsible for executing service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers. Your responsibilities Performing service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements etc.) Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation. Maintaining a good relationship with customers. Identifying new sales opportunities and communicates them internally Coordinating, preparing and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities Preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reporting work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed Troubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future Providing recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service Your background Bachelor's degree or diploma in instrumentation or electronics or electrical engineering Require 5 to 10 years of experience in analytical Skills in higher end ABB product continuous water analyzer (Ph, conductivity, sodium, silica and hydrazine, Zriconia analyzer and SWAS system), metal analyzer and process gas chromatograph Experience in cement, power, fertilizers and petro chemical and refinery Good knowledge in ABB CGA product (advance optima and easy line) A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills More about us ABB's Measurement & Analytics division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers.
