
Principal Specialist (Agreement Sales)

- Responsible for meeting assigned sales targets for agreement-based services and new business development.
- Primary activities include targeting, preparation of sales offers for agreements and other new business opportunities.
- Identify the assets and required data for agreement creation. Develop competency and use processes and tools provided for this role.
- Support agreement renewals in accordance with the agreement retention policy. Refer opportunities for other products to other sales resources by creating sales cases.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow agreement-based sales (e.g., AMC, service contracts).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new customer segments.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand needs and ensure satisfaction with service agreements.
- Resolve client issues related to pricing, service delivery, and contract terms.
- Prepare, negotiate, and finalize service agreements in coordination with legal and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor contract performance and renewal cycles.
- Track and report sales performance, contract status, and customer feedback.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Present periodic performance reports to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical)
- 9-10 years of experience in machinery industry sales, with at least 6-8 years in agreement or service contract sales.
- Strong understanding of machinery lifecycle, service models, and customer pain points.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and site visits.
