Job Description Warehouse Assistant Manager (Electrical Consumer Goods)Position Overview:The Warehouse Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations for electrical consumer goods, including inventory management, inbound/outbound coordination, space planning, and ensuring operational efficiency. The role ensures timely dispatch, accurate stock maintenance,Key Responsibilities:1. Warehouse Operations:- Manage daily warehouse activities including inbound, outbound, storage, and dispatch of electrical consumer products.- Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices.- Monitor picking, packing, loading, and unloading processes.2. Inventory Management:- Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and physical audits.- Oversee GRN creation, stock postings, and adjustments.- Manage slow, non-moving, and defective stock.3. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination:- Coordinate with transporters and logistics teams for on-time dispatch.- Optimize routing and shipment consolidation.- Track last-mile deliveries and ensure TAT compliance.4. Team Leadership:- Supervise warehouse staff and allocate manpower.- Provide training on SOPs and safety.- Conduct performance monitoring.5. Process, Compliance & Safety:- Implement SOPs and enforce safety norms.- Conduct operational and safety audits.- Ensure proper storage of electrical goods.6. Reporting & Coordination:- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.- Coordinate with sales, procurement, finance, and service teams.Skills & Competencies:- Knowledge of warehouse operations in electrical consumer goods.- SAP S4 Hana Public cloud.- Strong analytical & leadership skills.Experience Requirements:- 35/7 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations.
