This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) business by participating in end-to-end deal origination and execution across a diverse range of capital market products.Key Opportunities and Responsibilities:Play an integral role in originating and developing new ECM mandates including IPOs, QIPs, OFS, Buybacks, and Rights Issues.Work closely with the Head of ECM and senior leadership on deal origination, client pitches, and transaction structuring.Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, law firms, and other key market intermediaries.Participate in client meetings, roadshows, and strategy discussions, providing insights on market conditions, fundraising options, and regulatory updates.Contribute to the creation of pitch books, financial models, market intelligence reports, and valuation analyses to support new business development efforts.Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing capital markets transactions (SEBI ICDR, Listing Regulations, Takeover Code, etc.).Support the execution team on transaction documentation, due diligence coordination, and interaction with SEBI, stock exchanges, and co-managers when needed.Desired Candidate Profile:Demonstrated experience in ECM origination and/or transaction coverage, with strong exposure to pitch preparation and client engagement.Solid understanding of financial parameters, deal structuring, and capital raising instruments.Prior experience in end-to-end execution of ECM deals is a strong advantage.Strong grasp of SEBI regulations, listing obligations, takeover code, delisting, and related capital market rules.Skilled in financial modeling, data analysis, and research to support origination pitches and opportunity assessments.Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to present to CXOs and senior stakeholders.Highly collaborative, self-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Qualifications:MBA (Finance) / CA / CSCFA candidacy is a plus
