Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software products. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform and Deployment Manager, to automate the provisioning and configuration of GCP resources. Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, optimizing release cycles and improving system reliability. Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using GCP tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, and ELK stack to proactively identify and resolve system issues. Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain strong security measures, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scanning. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with the operations team to ensure system availability and performance. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and GCP services, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking. Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or equivalent. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Proficient in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with related tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK stack, or equivalent. Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, network security, and encryption. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Preferred Qualifications: Google Cloud certifications, such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer, or equivalent. Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
