- Proven experience as an eCommerce manager or similar role, preferably in an online retail environment
- Experience of having worked with FMCG brands would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders is a must.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Good understanding of eCommerce platforms, technologies, and digital marketing strategies
- Get an understanding of the client's e-commerce business & understand stakeholder engagement.
- Started to build relationships with the key decision makers and strategic partner
- Take a handover on complete client business - internalize brand playbooks, past e-commerce campaigns * efforts & any client specific framework trainings.
- Support in development of category
- Have a broad POV on e-commerce business in India across various business models, understanding & value of “media” as a lever to drive incremental growth for the client on e- commerce.
- Develop & share reporting formats and SLAs - streamline data requirements (internal & external).
- Identify all relevant internal support teams and drive effective engagement.
- Work with e-commerce platform partners on campaign planning, deployment & track deliverables.
- Work with the e-commerce team lead on all media commerce strategy & planning discussions.
- Manage active communication & support on all client related e-commerce needs with central trading & e-commerce team.
- Support on e-commerce focused workshops & trainings as required for internal & client teams.
- 100% certification on all e-commerce related platform trainings & certifications for self & team E.g.: AMS (Amazon), Google, FB etc.
- Work with E-commerce Team Lead to ensure 100% achievement of targets delivered to client.
- Manage a daily/weekly/monthly tracking dashboard to track category
brand level Metrics. * Support in development of e-commerce media AOPs in collaboration with mainline + digital teams.What you will need:
- A smart / sharp leader who: Has an entrepreneurial spirit and is self-motivated.
- Understands the e-commerce ecosystem & business landscape (Marketplace, E-grocers, Hyperlocal platforms etc.)
- Strong understanding of the digital ad & media platforms like Google, FB, Amazon, etc. - knowledge on capability, metrics & business implication on client's e-commerce business strategy
- Ability to leverage industry connects & sources to help achieve the e-commerce targets for the client.
- Has execution experience & understanding of e-commerce industry ad platforms like Amazon Search, DSP, etc. and strong knowledge of media opportunities that exist on other e-commerce platforms
- Isn't wary of getting their hands dirty or stepping into the trenches
- Have a minimum experience of 2+ years in the e-commerce industry & with an overall experience of 4+ years.
- Experience of having worked with any of the large e-commerce/internet platforms or experience in an e-commerce profile having worked for a company within FMCG/Consumer Durables/ Mobile/Electronic categories
- Experience of having managed performance marketing & brand media campaigns on leading e=commerce platforms will be a plus
- Experience of working in roles such as Category Management/Marketing, Media Monetization, Ecommerce Key Account Management, Business Development & Strategic Alliances
- Experience of working in a media/e-commerce agency having managed e-commerce business or media campaigns for mid/large clients across categories like FMCG, Consumer Durables, Electronics etc.
