- Administer and maintain the SP3D environment including setup, configuration, and customization.
- Manage SP3D databases, project structures, and user access controls.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams for SP3D-related issues.
- Coordinate with IT and engineering departments to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Develop and maintain SP3D project templates, catalogs, and specifications.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Train and mentor junior team members on SP3D best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of experience in SP3D administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of SP3D modules (Piping, Equipment, Structure, Electrical, etc.).
- Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL) and SmartPlant Foundation.
- Experience with integration of SP3D with other engineering tools (e.g., SPPID, SPEL, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in SP3D or related tools.
- Experience with cloud-based SP3D deployments.
- Familiarity with other Hexagon tools and platforms.
