The CCS include Strategy, Corporate Finance, Buy and Integrate, Sell and Separate and Reshaping Results, and are underpinned by our Connected Capital Technologies.Our key focus areas are - Investment Banking Advisory, Valuations, Modeling and Economics, Transaction Diligence, Restructuring and Turnaround Services, Project Finance and infrastructure, EY Parthenon - Strategy and EY Parthenon - Execution.Your key responsibilitiesTechnical ExcellenceProject Delivery & Leadership:Drive work streams or lead aspects of client engagements, applying structured data analysis, research, and strategic thinking to solve complex client challenges.Develop, structure, write, and present deliverables, often under tight deadlines and across global/local teams.Plan, deliver, and monitor high-quality work products.Analytical & Strategic Work:Conduct market, sector, and competition analysis, including opportunity sizing and market entry strategy.Support strategy planning and business/commercial reviews.Assess business drivers and develop actionable recommendations for clients.Client Engagement:Interact directly with clients, establishing yourself as a key point of contact and trusted advisor.Foster productive client relationships and collaborate in team-based environments.Present analysis and findings to client executives.Business Development:Contribute to proposals, pitches, and thought leadership activities.Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.Team Development:Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and encourage a culture of continuous learning.Participate in feedback and coaching processes.Skills and attributesTo qualify for the role you must have
QualificationBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent degree is an advantage. Degrees from IITs, IIMs, FMS, XLRI, or SP Jain are preferred.Experience3-6 years' experience in top tier consulting firms (MBBs / ATK / Big 4 / Accenture) or relevant industry roles (transaction advisory, corporate finance, or strategy preferred).Experience in one or more new energy sectors, such as solar, wind, hydropower, bioenergy, geothermal, ocean energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, e-mobility, smart grids, and carbon capture.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication for effective report writing and presenting.Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively.Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and, for some teams, financial modeling.Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.What we look forPeople with the ability to work in a collaborative manner to provide services across multiple client departments while following the commercial and legal requirements.
