- Managing a team of IT specialists (developers and QA engineers)
- Acting as a people manager — supporting personal growth, career development, and motivation of your team members
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Product Managers, BAs, and other leaders to define roadmaps and set priorities
- Overseeing delivery management of assigned projects
- Proactively solving cross-team dependencies through effective communication and collaboration
- Driving agile practices, ensuring successful sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives
- Supporting backlog management together with lead engineers and product team
- Identifying and implementing process improvements within the team’s daily work
- Participating in recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members; building and maintaining a well-balanced team with the right mix of skills
- Maintaining team competence through ongoing training and knowledge sharing
- At least 3 years of experience working in or leading technical teams, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application. Provides direction, mentorship, and collaborates effectively with global teams.
- Hands-on experience in teams designing and building APIs; experience delivering API-driven solutions is a strong plus.
- Strong delivery focus: able to track and resolve dependencies, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and on time.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, takes ownership of outcomes, and proactively drives improvements rather than only pointing out issues.
- Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Excel (Power BI a plus) to support planning, tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Communicates clearly and confidently, collaborates seamlessly across functions, and builds trust and authority through actions and examples.
- Bonus: Basic programming knowledge and/or experience with financial products or payment systems, helpful for engaging effectively with engineers and stakeholders.
