- Plan, Co-ordinate and direct supervision of day to day maintenance of plant & Equipment,
- Manpower planning & resource levelling to meet daily maintenance requirement,
- Making preventive maintenance schedule & its execution,
- On job training to front line working crew for safe & quality working, Spare management for day to day requirement,
- Proficiency in Computers & knowledge of SAP is must
- To maintain S&S & RPM expenses as per budgeted norms.
- Skill required for Wagon Tippler, Pylon reclaimer, slewing and non-slewing stacker,
- Skill required for maintenance of Wagon tippler, perfect truck tippler and L&T Roller crusher
- Skill required for Belt conveyor maintenance, knowledge of bearing and gearbox
- Skill required for Spare parts planning for major shutdown jobs as well as fulfilling day to day basic requirements.
Execution of preventive & corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure periodic checking.
Manpower planning one day in advance for daily jobs.
Proper Job planning for shutdown jobs.
Spare parts planning for major shutdown jobs as well as fulfilling day to day basic requirements.
Analysis of major / minor breakdowns and plan corrective actions accordingly.
Interaction with OEM and suppliers for elimination of critical equipment problems.
Execution of all the major jobs during shutdowns.
Planning of contractor jobs to be carried out and raise service work order accordingly.
Attending coordination meeting regularly for discussion of plant performance on day today basis, collecting related feedback from internal customers, communicating subordinates and assure for the execution of corrective actionsKRA 2: .Cost Control:
Control cost of all the maintenance activities of material handling as per budget in order to optimize maintenance costs.KRA 3:System Implementation:
The system requirements of ISO, EMS, OHSAS, SA 8000 and WCM systems in Utility Through the involvement of employees for improving plant working and quality standard.KRA 4: .Environment & safety:
Monitor & carryout all the activities required to maintain good housekeeping and safety standards of section.KRA 5: Modifications/upgradation:
Identify and carryout various modifications/changes required for improvement in plant working on continuous basis in the section.KRA 6: Description: WCM withParticipation in improvements & submission of kaizen idea sheets, Participation in Daily Self-Maintenance. Participation in Mega Cleaning / GRT Events, Development of Model Areas,5S Audit Score as per WCM Methodology as applicable, GRT audits score of the area.Professional Qualifications: Diploma Mechanical/BE MechanicalEssential: Sound knowledge on material handling equipment’s like Wagan tippler, Perfect Hydraulic Truck tippler, Slewing and non-slewing Stacker and Pylon reclaimer, Roller crusher and Belt conveyorsPreferably: Material handling equipment’s.
