Job Description:Job descriptionData Engineer will be responsible for expanding and optimizing healthcare payer data, data pipeline architecture and data flow to enable analysis across several dimensions.Role and Responsibilities:· Design, develop and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture· Monitor incidents by performing root cause analysis and implement appropriate action.· Solve issues and abnormal job execution and data corruption conditions.· Automate jobs (ingestion & pipelines), notifications and reports.· Ability to optimize the existing query, reverse engineering for data research and analysis and to calculate the impact of issues to the downstream side for communication.· Support failures, data quality issues and environment health.· Maintain ingestion and pipeline runbooks, portfolio summary and DBAR· Enable infrastructure change, enhancements and updates roadmap· Build the infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading data from a wide variety of data sources using big data technologies, python or Web based API’s.· Conduct and participate in code reviews with peers.· Excellent in communication for communicating or understanding the requirement.Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related quantitative field
Must have technical skills include:
Minimum 8 years’ programming experience with python, SQL.
Experience with massively parallel processing systems like Spark or Hadoop
Minimum 6-7 years of hands-on experience with GCP, Big query, Dataflow, Data Warehousing, Data modeling, Apache Beam, Cloud Storage.
Experience with source code control systems (GIT) and CI/CD process.
Involvement in the design, prototyping, and delivery of software solutions within the big data eco-system.
Hands on experience in Design, develop and implement generative AI models.
Ability to perform code reviews to ensure that code meets acceptance criteria.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlog.
Improving data governance and quality, increasing the reliability of data.
