Responsibilities:- Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.- Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, generators, and control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and electrical testing protocols to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifecycle. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including civil, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within projects. - Monitor electrical project progress, manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety policies, promoting a safety-first culture at all times. - Evaluate and manage vendor relationships, overseeing procurement of electrical components and services to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. - Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical failures or inefficiencies to develop robust corrective actions.- Mentor and lead the electrical engineering team, fostering technical excellence, teamwork, and professional development.- Collaborate closely with regulatory bodies and utilities for necessary approvals and compliance with electrical codes and standards. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies, best practices, and lessons learned from projects to enhance system performance.- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
