- Design and implement policies, SOPs, and SLAs for housekeeping, patient care/transport, and linen & laundry.
- Conduct periodic audits of all Hospital areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and storage of chemicals meet stipulated guidelines and SLAs.
- Evaluate and select the latest, most efficient, and cost-effective housekeeping and laundry equipment/technology.
- Draw up the scope of work and conduct spot checks for Housekeeping Business Partners to ensure service quality (laundry, resources, waste management).
- Analyze customer feedback and create action plans to enhance service effectiveness.
- Maximize patient satisfaction through efficient housekeeping and PCA/PTA services.
- Ensure infection control quality indicators pertaining to housekeeping are within the defined benchmark.
- Maintain optimal par levels of housekeeping consumables, cleaning agents, linen, and uniforms for cost optimization and minimal wastage/pilferage.
- Responsible for daily briefing and training of subordinate staff/supervisors.
- Set the training calendar and ensure continuous functional and behavioral skill upgradation for the Housekeeping team.
- Keep abreast with the latest technology and innovations in the Housekeeping field.
- Provide suggestions/feedback for continuous improvement of departmental services.
