Hybrid Working Structured hybrid role: At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: The role is to manage and review all new and amended product proposals across the bank to ensure the regulatory reporting team can accurately and consistently report it. This role will also involve Project Management skills to handle and run multiple small projects as in when it requires. What will you be doing . Responsible for ensuring controls and governance for Regulatory Reporting function around new product launched across Barclays Group under the NAPA Framework. . Represent the function across various forums to understand product propositions and foresee impact on Regulatory Reporting. . Continuous engagement with Production teams to understand the risk generated from the product, reporting complexities to pre-empt / mitigate any existing issues impeding the launch and to ensure accurate risk reporting of the product. . Liaise with Regulatory Policy to understand the regulatory implications of each product category. . Engage with partners across Technology, Middle office, Finance and Desk on an ongoing basis to ensure operational feasibility ahead of the launch. . Maintain robust controls around New product launches within Risk systems . Provide business analysis and project management support for new Strategic change projects. . Provide support to RIS production teams on resolving their Data Quality issues. . Coordinating with RIS Production Managers to ensure the details of any developing regulatory changes are understood. . Review RIS EUDAs and work on strategic fixes as part of wider RIS decommissioning efforts. What we're looking for: . Ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a numerate subject (finance/business degree would be advantageous). . Minimum 4-5 years' experience in risk/finance/audit/product control or numerate operations team and/or business analysis experience. . Regulatory experience would be advantageous. Knowledge covering current (Basel III/CRDIV) Market Risk, Trading and Banking book rules. Awareness of new changes to regulatory rules would also be beneficial. . Good product knowledge. . Experience in investment banking products preferred. . Good communications skills . Good analytical and problem-solving skills. . Commitment to meeting deadlines . Excellent team player with the ability to also work independently on mini projects when required. Skills that will help you in the role: . Ambitious, focused and able to work well under pressure. .
