Together with our 500 colleagues in 14 countries, we strive for a future with no waste.The Technical Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the successful design, deployment and ongoing performance of Cathelco’s protection systems across the global fleet. Acting as a technical liaison between engineering, production, service partners and customers, the role ensures systems are correctly specified, documentation is delivered on time and consistent technical support is provided throughout the vessel lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesSize and specify ICCP, MGPS and USP systems in line with individual vessel designs and project requirementsProduce and release installation manuals and engineering drawings to support manufacturing timelines and customer delivery schedulesProvide technical support and guidance to Cathelco’s worldwide agent network, including service support, production queries and system operation (full training provided)Support customers and onboard engineers with technical queries and troubleshootingReview monthly vessel log sheets, responding with analysis and operational insightAccurately log system information, spares and service opportunities within SalesforceSkills, Experience & QualificationsMechanically minded with a strong interest in problem solvingExcellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work and troubleshootingClear and effective communication skillsWillingness to undertake training and development for the roleStrong team playerFluency in spoken and written EnglishUnderstanding of engineering drawings (preferred)Passport holder (preferred)What We OfferEvac offers an influential position within a truly global marine organisation, complemented by an inclusive, safe and collaborative working culture where colleagues support and trust one another.
