- Lead and manage the R&D team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute R&D strategies and roadmaps aligned with the company's business objectives and market trends.
- Oversee the formulation development process for a range of homecare products, including Washing Powder, Dish wash Bar, Dish wash Liquid, Detergents, Soaps, Bathing Soap, Floor Cleaner, Toilet Cleaner, Hand wash.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Production to ensure successful product launches and commercialization.
- Drive innovation by identifying new ingredients, technologies, and formulation approaches to improve product performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, research partners, and industry stakeholders to stay abreast of emerging trends and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols throughout the product development process.
- Master's degree (M. Sc.) in Organic Chemistry or Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Oils, Oleochemicals, or Surfactants Technology. Ph.D. with the same qualifications is preferred.
- Proven experience in R&D leadership roles within the homecare products industry, with a track record of successful product development and commercialization.
- In-depth knowledge of formulation chemistry, ingredient functionality, and manufacturing processes for homecare products.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Availability to travel occasionally for conferences, supplier visits, or other business-related activities.
