Role Purpose Recovery of Facility Advise Letters charges in timely manner. T o safeguard the Bank from potential loss on lending by ensuring that security documentation for accounts is obtained from the customers promptly as per FAL/Security Section of the CARM application. To ensure that the security documents are enforceable and in line with BIM Vol 3/ local regulations/ laws. To check that necessary charges have been created in the Bank's favour. Also to ensure that security documents are loaded on HUB and are kept under dual control. To liase with legal advisors, consortium banks and customers regarding various issues related to security documentation. To assistin collation of various Returns to be submitted to HHO/RBI/Internal Auditors. To ensure highest levels of service to both internal and external customers, and with the objective of protecting the interests of the bank at all times within the spectrum of activities relating to Security Document checking, compliance with regulatory requirements, interface with the external auditors, and B&DD related support activities. T o supervise/look after the operational aspect of Credit i.e.Loading of Limits on HUB, Loading of Auto reduction of limits with suggestions to improve existing processes on a regular basis. Passing Entries for Provisioning/writeoff for Bad and Doubtful accounts Develop a Business Continuity Plan ( BCP) for CDT Unit and conduct regular tests while noting the system performance, system up time, user training etc. Principal Accountabilities : Impact on the Business Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Improving Process Efficiencies Customers / Stakeholders Understand and implement customer requirements Leadership & Teamwork Staff motivation & Training Operational Effectiveness & Control To ensure that securitydocumentation is obtained promptly and documents are valid and enforceable. Checking of CARMapplications and ensuring that limits loaded are in line with approvals held. To ensure all RBI/HHO/INMreturns pertaining to Security Documentation, Guarantees, Loans,and Bad and Doubtful accounts are accurate and submitted on time. To ensure that the security documents like Hold Covers/ CGTsand DUL are renewed before their due dates. To ensure that all security documents are properly recorded. To ensure transactions are processed as per agreed SLAs and without any errors. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring. Requirements This role requires a Graduate with 2-5 years of overall Banking exposure People and Stakeholder Management Strong communication ability.
