Mechanical EngineeringJob Summary:We are
seeking a highly experienced Tool Design Manager with hands-on expertise
in Plastic Moulding, Aluminium Die Casting, and Sheet Metal tool design,
specifically for LED lighting products, plastic parts, or automotive
components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks and
Unigraphics (UG/NX) and capable of leading tool development projects from
concept to production.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and
development of tools, moulds, dies, jigs, and fixtures for plastic, die
casting, and sheet metal components.
Manage end-to-end tool
design activities for LED lighting products and automotive parts.
Create and review 3D models,
2D drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks and Unigraphics (UG/NX).
Coordinate with production,
R&D, and suppliers to ensure tool designs meet functional and
manufacturing requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies,
tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFMA evaluations.
Guide and support tool
trials, validation, and troubleshooting during development and production
phases.
Liaise with toolrooms and
vendors for timely and quality tool manufacturing.
Maintain documentation,
revision control, and adherence to quality and safety standards.Key Skills & Requirements:?
Proficient in SolidWorks and Unigraphics (UG/NX)

Sheet Metal Tool Design
? Good knowledge of tool materials, cooling layouts, venting, ejection
systems, and mold flow concepts
? Strong understanding of tolerances, GD&T, and DFM principles
? Experience working in the LED lighting, plastics, or automotive
sector preferred
