- Extensive discipline knowledge and broad general engineering knowledge within the Refinery and Petrochemical Industry.
- Knowledge in reading P&ID, Isometric Drawing, Equipment drawing, Civil Foundation Drawing, 3-D Model, Plot Plan, Lay out, Equipment GA drawing etc.
- Work experience in specification, review of equipment drawing, maintenance, trouble-shooting & spares planning of various rotating and static equipment.
- Experience in maintenance activities such as preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance and record history of maintenance activity.
- Experience in Pipe fabrication/erection according to P&ID and Isometric drawing, support drawings, piping specs etc.
- Hands-on experience on diagnosis, repair and overhaul of various types of rotating equipment such as steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors (vertically split and horizontally split), reciprocating compressors, electric generators, electric motors, gearboxes, single and multistage pumps, expanders, agitators, extruders, pelletizers, feeders/crushers etc.
- Working knowledge of Static Equipment: Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Reactors, Boilers, Cooling towers, Tank farm equipment (storage tanks), Valves and Piping.
- Ability to communicate at all levels, good interpersonal skills and team working skills are essential.
- Good knowledge of Engineering and Maintenance processes.
- Ability to develop strategy and manage change.
- Analytical thinking ability for planning and troubleshooting.
