Scope Work Description/Role Summary: Responsible for Manual testing of all the features in the ELEMENTS product and relate tools Responsible for Model Integration Testing within ELEMENTS Backend testing of ELEMENTS using advanced SQL Queries Testing of cloud resources and clouds native software Automate manual test cases for a Catastrophe modelling software product Role overview: Perform End to End testing of all the features in ELEMENTS and related Tools Understand basics of catastrophe modelling and perform detailed model integration testing within ELEMENTS Perform backend testing using advanced SQL queries Testing of cloud resources and clouds native software Execute existing automated test suites using automated tool Perform API testing Automate the test cases of the software product using Selenium to reduce the testing time and improve the efficiency of testing process. Understand the requirements for new features, develop test cases to test the product. To be part of India testing initiatives for Impact forecasting software products and tools Skills & Knowledge Requirements: Minimum of 6+ years functional experience in software testing Automate the test cases using automation tools such as Selenium reduce the testing time. Good knowledge on Testing life cycle, process, and concepts Good Knowledge on using Test Management Tool Create and manage SQL Scripts for testing. Perform testing for each internal and external release and produce test report summary Good logical, analytical, and reasoning capability Contributes to the Test design, Test plan and test case development for each internal and external releases. Provides deployment support to Analyst/client/Administrators to resolve issues. Manual testing of features Coordinates with onsite team for testing the software release. Effectively identify the defects in the products and tools. Produces test deliverables results for all internal and external releases and document it. Effectively learning and adapting to new technologies to improve the testing process Experience working with colleagues spread across multiple offices with excellent skills in conflict resolution and decision making. Good knowledge in Testing technologies i.e MS Office, Azure Devops, SQL Queries, Macros or any programming language and Agile development delivery approaches (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe Agile Framework). A self-starter able to administer several open, ongoing assignments at any point of time, where some assignments are routinely unstructured, requiring autonomy and independent judgment. Mandatory Skills (Behavioral) Client management, collaboration, and decision-making skills for working with multiple stakeholders. Self-motivated and confident individual with a 'Can-do' attitude. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both verbal and written) and engage in technical discussions. Ability to demonstrate excellence. in delivering high quality and timely products to the clients through a small but highly skilled team. Mandatory Skills (Specialized) Expertise in Software Testing both automated and manual for Cloud Based Web Application using Selenium. Knowledge in Macros or any programming language Sound Knowledge in MS Office, Azure Devops, SQL Queries for Manual testing Good To Have : Exposure on Catastrophe Modelling and Reinsurance Domain Exposure on working with any web application functional and performance automation tool Works with: Small to large project teams and extensive interaction with internal and/or external clients. 2538873
