If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.About you and this roleThe Site Investor Relations (IR) Executive plays a crucial role in managing communication between the company and its investors. They are responsible for disseminating financial information, organizing investor meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Site IR Executive collaborates with senior management to create effective strategies for investor relations, including financial reporting, earnings releases, and presentations. Their goal is to foster transparency, build investor confidence, and enhance the company’s reputation in the financial markets.Responsibilities- Establish a single point of contact at the plant level to manage the Industrial Relations and community engagement with strong networking with Government agencies. Also responsible for Site Compliance as relates to all local regulatory requirements, managed through OPD in collaboration and guidance of the Site Leader & Labor Relations SME.- Develop & execute a shared understanding of various sites around Industrial Relations initiatives & leverage on the strengths of each site in enhancing Labor Productivity.- Effective & Efficient Outsourcing Management including Contract labor. Site focal point to manage Community engagement activities (CSR) in coordination with country CSR leader. Capable resource to handle responsibilities relating to Government Affairs.- Manage Site administrative activities along with facility management service provider. Liaison with Govt. agencies like DISH office, Labor dept., MPCB, PF, ESIC, NSSO, MIDC, Mathadi Board, Security Guard board, NATS/NAPS, MSEDL etc. Effective implementation of month-by-month Labor Law Compliances & also resolving any issues w.r.t. Labor law compliances. Prepare & track the progress by way of implementation of dashboard. Responsible for performance evaluation of contract agencies at site.-Engagement of Employees/workmen by way of effectively implementing Cultural, Sports & Awareness category events, to have maximum participation. Responsible for coaching and developing the trainee who will be reporting to this incumbent including apprentices. The incumbent will also be responsible to be part of or carry out the below mentioned task and support the Government Affairs team:
  • Support the Government Affairs strategy for the site.
  • Strengthen internal collaboration with key business leaders.??
  • Map key stakeholders for the site.
  • Execute and coordinate state on local issues impacting the sites.
  • Serve as primary contact for interfaces with the area, and state agencies in assigned area(s) as well as establish and maintain a sophisticated state and local political contact network to leverage for the sites and the company’s benefit.
  • Be a proactive strategic agent on behalf of Dow's interests in the area and help set the agenda and shape future events for local relations in assigned area(s).
  • Represent the company on relevant local Industry Associations, as required.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in human resources /industrial Relations.
  • Candidates need to permanently relocate to this location.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi
  • Should be humble but firm, fair & factual. High level of initiative and energy
  • Team Player, Influence Management - Ability to influence others without authority.
  • Listening Skills & Conflict Management
Preferred Skills
  • Practical Understanding of the applicability of Labor Laws at the plant level
  • Good conceptual understanding of Industrial Relations & Labor Compliance
  • Handling Multiple Contractors & Unions, Effective handling of Contract labors
  • Good Communication & Drafting Skills
  • Planning & Organizing
  • Excellent in Verbal & Written communication in Marathi apart from English and Hindi.
