Role & Responsibilities Develop and implement effective collections strategies and procedures to maximize debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships. Manage a team of collections agents, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Monitor and analyze the performance of the collections team, implementing measures to improve productivity and success rates. Review and evaluate delinquent accounts, determining appropriate actions to be taken in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, settlements, or other resolutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and customer service, to resolve complex or escalated customer issues. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in collections, implementing new strategies or technologies as needed to improve efficiency and results. Prepare regular reports on collections activities, presenting data and insights to senior management. Develop and maintain relationships with external collection agencies, attorneys, and other service providers as necessary. Key Skills and Competencies as Collection and Recovery Management Managing the entire Delhi / NCR portfolio with good relationship management skills. Handling high value cases/ defaulters' clients & initiating appropriate legal actions. Allocation of delinquent cases to the respective Collection agency based on past performance and present output to work efficiently. Monitoring the employee code of conduct, cash & cheque management and loan settlements. Coordinate with Credit, Sales and Risk Management Units and provided feedback / inputs in order to improve & control of any risk exposure.
