Key Responsibilities1. Master data management for all geographies in scopeAccurately maintain financial master data which covers, but not limited to:o General ledger accountso Cost centerso Profit centerso Tax codeso Vendor mastero Material Mastero Customer Mastero Pricingo Product HierarchiesConduct periodic reconciliations of organization's chart of accounts, including account codes, descriptions, and hierarchies, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.Ensure quality of master data alongwith documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. Initiate necessary actions against unused / redundant GLs/Cost Centres/Vendors/Materials/Customers etc. to maintain system hygiene and control.Conduct validation checks on data shared for creation of Vendor, Customer and Material Master to build robust processesImprove MDO Fuse workflows to build better controls and approvalsTrain users and onboard them to MDO FuseTake Initiatives to automate and standardise processes across markets to build better controlsEnsure that master data management practices align with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.Generate reports and conduct data analysis to monitor master data quality, accuracy, compliance, and performance.Assist in analyzing discrepancies and variances in master data, investigating root causes, and suggesting corrective actions.Provide accurate and well-organized data during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and transparency.Assist in projects for SAP Implementation in new SAP instances and plant codes creation2. Familiarity with MDO Fuse and SAP MDM will be a plus.Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, Alteryx or other data visualization platforms to create clear and informative reports for stakeholders.Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation techniques to facilitate financial analysis and reporting.Working knowledge of basic accounting practices, legalities and financial reporting requirements.Soft SkillsCandidate should be well versed in English. Proficiency in Bahasa/Portuguese/Spanish will be a plus.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to data integrity.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including finance teams, auditors, and management.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team player with the capability to collaborate across departments, geographies, and cultures. Proactive attitude towards process improvement and the ability to drive change.EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science or a related field.A professional accounting designation or certification is a plus.Experience7 to 10 years of experience in master data management or a similar role within a finance or accounting function is required.Experience of working in a financial shared services environment is preferred but not mandatory.Proven track record of process improvement and optimization initiatives within financial data management/closure activities or related financial processes will be advantageous.
