- Able to provide leadership on “Safe by Design” on projects and review our approach to hierarchical risk elimination, mitigation and controls.
- Undertakes specialist/complex packages of work and function as a Discipline Technical Reviewer on Medium technical risk projects within their own discipline.
- Able to present their technical work and that of their colleagues in their field to clients.
- Contributes to and researches the development of existing and new areas of technology/capabilities to inform business strategy.
- Promotes the importance of quality within their business.
- Acts as a Technical reviewer/signatory on low/medium-risk projects and bids.
- Familiar with the commercial governance, systems and project management governance.
- Ensures technical governance structures and processes are adhered to develops technical capability of team/business.
- Promotes technical capability within business e.g. papers, case studies etc.
- Occasional presenter at regional conferences or at local Institution events (with opportunities possibly identified by others)
- An understanding of management processes related to technical integration and associated analytical / investigative approaches.
- An understanding of principles of assurance and compliance as defined and applied within the relevant industry environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the importance and relevance of technical interface management.
- Acts as a Team Leader/Design Manager for medium and large projects.
- Trusted by clients to deliver complex, discipline specific, technical work.
- Acts as a Project Technical Leader on medium-risk projects.
- Active participant on relevant technical network / working group
- Prepares and delivers technical training locally.
- Recognized expertise in one or more fields in business unit.
- Provides complete technical guidance to teams with minimal guidance from above.
- Occasional presenter at public exhibitions and inquiries or to clients / LPO.
- Acts as the Regional lead for the team, strengthens the collaborations and add value to the business.
