- Mechanical R & D engineer with 8 years of valuable experience in new product development projects.
- Good exposure to Single-Use Device New Product Development Cycle in Mechanical design from concept to commercialization
- Hands-on experience in test method development is must.
- Good in Statistics analysis and Minitab.
- Understanding of Mechanical engineering concepts/ Engineering first principle
- Knowledge of material sciences and processing - Metals, Polymers, Plastics. The candidate should be able to apply knowledge of materials and processes to design.
- Setting technical specifications & Design requirements
- Exposure to testing and programming equipment like UTM
- Understanding of design considerations (injection molding and extrusion)
- Knowledge on Catheter design
- Valuable experience in Windchill
- Good knowledge in Tolerance stacks up analysis and GD&T
- Working understanding of CAD software like SolidWorks, CATIA etc.
- Project management with proficiency in MS projects or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of ANSYS or any other analysis software tool.
- Strong understanding of medical device standards, guidelines and regulations per ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and Design controls (21 CFR Part 820).
- Able to effectively work with cross functional teams in a multinational matrix organization.
